Baby Photos for Mrs. Lau and Mrs. Andrade's Class

The children have shown an interest in learning about babies. Some of their wonderings have been about how they grow and how to care for them. If you have any baby items you would like to let us borrow for the dramatic centre, we would appreciate them.

 We are also asking the children to bring in a baby picture for us to display in the classroom. If your child has a baby book they would like to share, you can send it in as well. These treasures will be kept safe and returned to you.

Hibernation and Migration In Kindergarten ~ Mrs. Lau and Mrs. Andrade

During one “I Wonder Wednesday…” we wondered how birds survive the cold winter months. We did some research and found out that some birds migrate to warmer places in the world, like Florida. Some other animals, like Black bears, hibernate in the winter time. Below is a link to a video feed of Lily the black bear and her cubs while they were hibernating.
